The personal atmosphere reveals – through Paloma’s soft and husky voice – her deepest desires and feelings, accompanied by minimalistic instrumentation and sonority. Each track evoques a dialogue between traditional and modern Brazilian culture, mingling samba’s peculiar energy and rhythm with urban and current unusual timbres and textures.
To find the sonority desired for her intimate samba, Paloma relayed on the sensitivity of a special staff that was chosen for its exquisite personal and professional features.
Biography Paloma Carvalho from São Paulo is a singer, songwriter, art educator and actress, specialist in Popular Song (postgraduate from Santa Marcelina College), certificated in Somatic Voicework method (Shenandoah University, USA) and has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre (Célia Helena School of Arts). Born in São Paolo to budhist parents, Paloma studied her whole life at a Waldorf - Anthroposophic school, where she had deep daily contact with acting, music theory, art history, fine arts and choir.
Paloma started to work in bands of various musical styles, performing in events, festivals and venues in cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and abroad, in UK, South Africa, Los Angeles, New York and various cities.
